Elizabeth joined the firm in 1993 after leaving a downstate insurance defense firm. In October of 2003 Liz became a named partner in the firm. Liz concentrates her practice in the areas of Personal Injury Litigation, Wrongful Death and Product Liability.

Liz was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1989. She is also licensed to practice in Missouri (1991), U.S. District Court, Northern Illinois (1993), Southern District of Illinois (1990), Eastern Distrit of Missouri (1991), and U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit (1991). While in law school, Liz worked for the Law Offices of Bernard Z. Paul and the Village of Carpentersville concentrating in personal injury and municipal law. Before joining the firm in 1993, Liz worked for Heyl, Royster, Voelker and Allen, P.C. representing numerous insurance companies in defending asbestos manufacturers in southern Illinois and eastern Missouri. Liz received her undergraduate degrees in History and Economics from the University of Illinois in 1985. She received her J.D., cum laude, in 1989 from Northern Illinois University. Liz was on the Dean’s List all six semesters of law school. She was on Law Review from 1987 to 1989, serving as the Revisions Editor from 1988 to 1989. Liz was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus (Vice President 1987-1988) a Teaching Assistant in Legal Writing, and Research Assistant. She also worked as a Graduate Assistant at the Law Library. Liz is a member of the Delta Theta Phi Fraternity and the Will County, Illinois State and American Bar Association. She is also a member on the Illinois Trial Lawyers and American Trial Lawyers Associations. Liz is also listed in the International Who’s Who of Professionals (1995), 2,000 Notable Women 4th Edition, The World Who’s Who of Women (1992-1993), Who’s Who Among Rising Young Americans (1992) and the Who’s Who CD-Rom; Additionally, she is a member of the National Association for Female Executives. Liz has been the chairperson for the Will County Bar Association’s Civil Practice Committee from 2006 through 2009.

Liz resides in the southwest section of Will County, with her two children Natalya and Nik, and dog Duffy, where she enjoys gardening, reading, and participating in her children’s favorite sports, soccer and karate.”
